The Purpose Driven Life is wonderful because it contains concepts that both the Christian and the non-Christian can find meaning in *and* be inspired by. At times, I feel as though it is a bit too dogmatic, but when I put my judgment aside, it is truly invaluable reading. Despite the fact that my beliefs are not fundamental by any stretch, I do believe in ENOUGH. I would best describe my faith as Christian-flexible. I believe, but I also open my arms to embrace other belief systems. Some may view this as controversial or downright incorrect; I am comfortable with this. I, for one, am happy to agree to disagree. I will start the 40 day devotional at the beginning of May.

My Father-in-law's Library

I have never met a human being with such an appetite for the meaning of God. He ravaged books meticulously with notes, delving deeper and deeper in his quest for the Divine. I was last in Thunder Bay (Ontario) in January as we packed up his books for donation and I segregated an entire suitcase of my own personal choice selections. I have so much admiration for those who SEEK.
