Choices
Every reaction is a choice. I can choose to absorb everyone else’s stress, or I can choose to seek and find serenity. I choose not to absorb everyone else’s stress. I choose to be serene. I choose to exist in a state of relative detachment. Often, it’s easier said than done but it comes easier with practice. In time, I’m learning that I simply be a fly on the wall: observe, process, and release. I don’t have to carry any of it.

Hi, you are right . People are too worried about changing things around them. To be happy and not worried about others happiness is better than worried about others happiness. In first case you are spreading the happiness and people around you will feel happy automatically. Some time people take lots of pressure that they are special and can change things around them. you are no one and as said in Tao feel like a leaf of a tree which fall on a ground according to a wind and hence no effort,
